Matthew Palentchar Can Deal With Your Real Estate Issues

It took a long time for Matthew Palentchar to get where he is now in the legal profession. After growing up in Colonia, New Jersey and graduating high school, Matt earned a Bachelor’s Degree in political science from Rutgers University. While there, he earned a scholarship to attend law school at Ohio Northern University, which is where he earned his Juris Doctor, or law degree. Of course, as soon as Matt Palentchar had his J.D., he headed straight for Florida, passed the state bar exam and started what is now a great legal career that has stretched to well over a decade so far. Currently a member in good standing of the Florida Bar Association, Matthew Palentchar also likes to help others.

These days, Matt Palentchar lives and practices in St. Petersburg, Florida. He lives with his wife Heather and their two dogs and his current law firm is focused primarily on real estate transactions and general commercial and residential property law. However, he also does a lot of routine real estate work, including work on titlesearches, exams and issuing title insurance. What little spare time he has is largely spent as a volunteer with CASA, where he acts as a court-appointed Guardian Ad Litum for disadvantaged children.

Real Estate Attorney From Colonia Thrives in Saint Petersburg

Matthew Palentchar
Matt Palentchar began practicing law in Florida in 2004. It started in Fort Myers, Florida. He has been involved in general practice law with a special emphasis on real estate as well as corporate transactions, small business law, probate, and simple estate planning. After working at a law firm in Naples, Florida, that he simply did not enjoy, he decided to quit the corporate grind of the large law firm. Instead, he started his own firm, becoming President of Matthew G. Palentchar, Esq., P.A. from 2005 until 2010. A life threatening illness and a number of personal issues caused Matthew Palentchar to put his career on hold and leave Florida in 2010.

Today, though, Matt Palentchar has returned to Florida more focused and better at his job. He has narrowed his focus to real estate transactions and property law, though obviously he has other areas of interest that he can practice in. Over the course of his ten years practicing law in Florida, he has been able to represent lenders, sellers, and purchasers. This includes working on complex commercial real estate transactions and simple resident real estate transactions by the hundreds. Palentchar is a member in good standing with the Florida Bar and has even volunteered his time for CASA as a court appointed Guardian Ad Litum for disadvantaged children in the area.

The Legal Journey of Matt Palentchar

Matthew Palentchar
When Matthew Palentchar was growing up in Colonia, NJ and playing sports, it’s likely that he didn’t envision himself as a prominent Florida lawyer, but there he is. He now has more than a dozen years’ experience in the law. Matt’s current firm features a far more specific focus on real estate transactions and property law than his other legal practice exploits in the past. Over the course of a dozen years, he has ably represented hundreds of lenders, purchasers and sellers in complex commercial transactions.

That said, however, Matt Palentchar doesn’t pawn off his other duties on others. He continues to do the smaller, more run-of-the-mill real estate work that is a critical part of the process. That means he performs tasks such as title searches, title exams, and issuing title insurance for residential and commercial closings and he can do it all better than most other attorneys, which gives him an edge. Matt Palentchar is still a member in good standing of the Florida Bar, and he spends what little personal time he has as a volunteer for CASA, where he serves as a court-appointed Guardian Ad Litum for disadvantaged children.

Florida Attorney Matt Palentchar

For the most part, Matthew Palentchar has practiced law in Florida since 2004. He’s practiced in a number of areas, but his current law practice specializes in real estate, corporate transactions, probate, simple estate planning, and small business law. It’s been a long road to get here, however. He moved to Florida after law school and passed the bar exam, after which he began practicing as something of a journeyman with a general practice law firm in Naples. He soon tired of that and formed Matthew G. Palentchar, Esq., P.A., which he ran from 2005 through 2010, when a life threatening illness and other issues forced him to leave Florida for a while. .

He then used his internal toughness and overcame all that. He soon returned to Florida, forming Matthew G. Palentchar, PLLC in St. Petersburg, where he currently lives with his wife Heather and their two dogs. In addition to being a member in good standing of the Florida Bar Association, Matt also likes to spend his free time volunteering for CASA as a court appointed Guardian Ad Litum for children who need help. He can handle virtually any commercial real estate transaction, but he also handles smaller real estate matters, as well.
